Terms & Conditions - ETS Pongal 2026

1. Content Language needs to be Tamil

2. All participants should have valid ticket

3. Will try to accommodate all performances. In case of overwhelming cultural registrations below selection criteria will be applied

4. Content Basis:

   1. Varieties of programs (other than Singing and Dancing) - Drop down required

   2. Group performances

   3. Solo performances

5. Participants Basis:

   1. Tamil Sangam Members

   2. Local to Essex

   3. Other residents outside Essex

6. Cultural content should be neutral to all types of audience

7. Song selection for cultural events operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Repetition may be considered, provided all parties involved mutually agree

8. Each participant may do only a maximum of 2 programmes,

   1. Two Group participations

   2. One Group and One Solo

9. Any exception to the above selection criteria will not be permitted until otherwise it's discussed and agreed with the event committee.

10. Each program should be max 5 mins

11. 17 Dec 2025 is the final deadline for event registration

12. All cultural registrations will be reviewed by Event committee and confirmation email will be sent soon

Cultural Programs – Guidelines for Participants

1. We encourage group performances to celebrate our diverse cultures and create a more engaging and inclusive cultural program - We prefer group over solo!

2. Program content Media files from participants are required to be available (e.g. MP3) no later than 5th Jan 2026.

3. Sound Track Quality is important for the replay on the stage. Please provide us the good quality track/file which is expected to be emailed to this email ID events@etscic.org.uk

4. The media needs to be given in Email only (events@etscic.org.uk)

5. Participants are expected to arrive on time and report to the events committee on the event day.

6. Event schedule will be given to the participants by the events committee on the day of event day and participants are expected to be there at the back stage 15 mins before their scheduled performance time
